Jonathan Mandell is a well-regarded writer who began his career as a junior at BBDO. He continued to refine his skills at creatively-driven advertising agencies such as Hill Holliday, Y&R, and Ammirati &Puris, where he rose to the level of Executive Creative Director. Along the way, he’s won every major industry prize including Cannes Film Festival, One Show and Art Directors awards. He’s also won the trust of clients, and has helped build each and every business he’s worked on.
Guided by the belief “the ideas are out there, you just have to find them”, he knows there are no easy solutions. Instead, he relies on hard work, a healthy disregard for the clock, and an equally healthy respect for brands.
Jonathan has been fortunate to work on some of the best-known, most loved, brands in the world including AT&T, Burger King and Pepsi—as well as small jewels like Green & Black’s Organic Chocolate, and Seattle’s Best Coffee. Often asked what he likes to work on most, his answer is always the same, “whatever needs the most help.”
On a personal note, Jonathan is a “certifiable” baseball fan who has lived and worked in Boston. He says, “If you want to know adversity, try rooting for the Yankees in
Fenway Park.”
